It's been a few days since we posted anything. Sorry, we have been keeping Amilia to ourselves.
Today Amilia is 6 weeks old! She is over 8 pounds now. She is so much bigger from when we first met her. We can't tell, but when we look back at our first photos with her, it's pretty amazing how much she has grown. She is starting to have better head, arm, and leg control. She is even at the beginning stages of understanding her hand-eye coordination. She will try to grab objects hanging in front of her with her hands.
She also is staring at faces more and her facial expressions are priceless. Some of them make mom and dad laugh, because she gets a angry eyebrow when she wakes up and one of us are in her face. We'll try to capture it on video. It's great.
Medically she has been great, with the exception of battling gas that upsets her. It's a lot better than it was a few weeks ago, but it still comes and goes. Other than the gas, she also has acid reflux which causes her to spit up often and makes her uncomfortable. We are hoping she outgrows these things in the next few months.
