Mia attended a San Jose Barracuda hockey game last weekend (they won!!).  Mia had many expressions throughout the game.  Sometimes looking very interested about what was happening.  I thought we should share some of her many expressions.

San Francisco Christmas Tree Lighting

Today we took a day trip to San Francisco to watch the Christmas tree lighting at pier 39. We took the BART to San Francisco with Mia and our service dog in training, Gita. We had fun watching Sea Lions and going to the aquarium before the tree lighting. Mia and Gita did great all day and we had no melt downs, YAY!  The highlight was that Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Goofy turned the Christmas tree on!  On the BART Watching Sea Lions  At the aquarium  Playing with a friendly otter  Watching fish at the aquarium  Disney characters with the pier 39 Christmas tree
Mia, mommy, and daddy went to the Smith Family Farm to check out their pumpkin patch.  They had lots of animals to look at, a corn maze and hay maze, and lots of other events going on.  Mia had a lot of fun running around. The 12 Days of Christmas - Amilia's First Christmas

Amilia had a busy week and a half. We are still in the midst of it.  The day before Christmas Eve Amilia spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa Gordon in Sonora. Then on Christmas Eve she spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Kelemen's house in Woodside. On Christmas we came home and spent the night there before heading to visit Amilia's godparents, Kristi and Cristian in Ohio. She had a lot of fun being with her godparents and playing with her cousin Bennett.  Tomorrow we welcome Allie into the family as we attend Balint and her wedding. That will wrap up 2016 for Amilia. She's had busy last weeks of 2016. On to 2017! Here are some photos from the past week.  Opening gifts in Sonora Excited about her present in Sonora Playing with her new toy Grandma Denise and Mia Grandpa Jim, Grandma Denise, and Mia Mom, Grandma Kathy, and Mia Group photo at the Kelemen house Mia and Bennett in Ohio Mia bundled up a...

Amilia's first Easter and first Easter card

1 month old and Happy First Easter!

Amilia is 1-month old as of yesterday (March 25).  Time is going by so fast.  She is starting to react to sound and focusing on different objects for a short period.  She still has "crazy arms" where she can't quite move them into place, but you can certainly see the progress.  She is now about 7 pounds 10 ounces. We are getting down a routine now, because she wakes up every three hours.  Mommy takes the night shift at 3 a.m. to feed and daddy takes the early morning shift at 6 a.m.  This helps us get ready for when daddy goes back to work, so he can sleep at night. At this point, the only thing Amilia has that makes her uncomfortable is gas pains.  We are helping her with tummy massages and gas relief medication for infants.  It seems to be helping. She's been a good baby and we are grateful she is healthy and doing well.  We see the doctor on Monday for the official check up. Tomorrow is Easter, so we'll leave you with this... Tomorro...
