Amilia had her second check up today. She is now past her birth weight (6 pounds, 13 ounces) and is a healthy 7 pounds, 0.9 ounces. They also measured her head circumference, listened to her heart and lungs, checked her eyes, her hips, and addressed the questions we had. We were slightly concerned that she didn't sleep much last night and seemed uncomfortable. We suspected it might be gas. Which it turned out it probably was. So we learned what we have to do and today she has been sleeping really well, even into the night. Our pediatrician told us at this point we can start giving her a pacifier if we needed to soothe her and since she feeds really well, we can start giving her mom's milk in a bottle once a day. This helps her get ready for when Mommy has to go back to work and we need someone else to feed her. So far she has had two baths, both times she didn't like them.
