Daddy tried playing R&B, not interested.  He tried playing Country, still no interest.  He put on a dance mix from Amazon and boom!  We are dancing. We might have a dancer in the family.  She can make up for what mommy and daddy don't like to do :)

Amilia had a busy week and a half. We are still in the midst of it.  The day before Christmas Eve Amilia spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa Gordon in Sonora. Then on Christmas Eve she spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Kelemen's house in Woodside. On Christmas we came home and spent the night there before heading to visit Amilia's godparents, Kristi and Cristian in Ohio. She had a lot of fun being with her godparents and playing with her cousin Bennett.  Tomorrow we welcome Allie into the family as we attend Balint and her wedding. That will wrap up 2016 for Amilia. She's had busy last weeks of 2016. On to 2017! Leading up to nine months has been a lot of progress. Minus the cold she has, but is slowly recovering from.  Just in the last week she is climbing up to a standing position. Just today we got it on camera.  Thanks to her cousins for the Frozen bus. She really like playing with it. The two pictures below were taken moments after each other. She pulled her self up to the fence, then crawled over to her frozen toy and pulled herself into a sitting position. Daddy was home and has no idea how she progressed to sitting on a toy. Time is going by so quickly.

Almost 8 months old

Mia, mommy, and daddy are in the process of moving! We bought a house in Oakley California!  Mia has her own room with lots of space.  Although we are bouncing back and forth between Woodside and Oakley, the house in Oakley is slowly coming together. Boxes are slowly being unpacked and rooms are starting to look like living spaces instead of empty areas.   Here is some of the house before furniture.  Photos of the house

Amilia is starting to get her first tooth on the bottom. We just felt the start of something poking from her gums two days ago. Now there is a little white cap.  So far she hasn't had any noticeable fever, but has been a little fussy more than usual.  Next up, tooth fairy. 

Amilia demonstrated all of what she has to offer yesterday to Ildi and Erzsi. Everything from how she laughs to how she is now able to get into the crawling position.

Amilia touched grass for the first time at the same place mommy and daddy were married (11 years ago) at Shoup Park in Los Altos.  This happened a few weeks ago, but we are still catching up on some posts. Mommy and daddy have been busy, busy, busy working and preparing for the new house :)

Here's just a few things you might have missed while we have been missing in action from the blog. Mia started to sit up assisted.  She is now eating oatmeal from a spoon with baby banana food, sweet potato baby food, and pear baby food.  It's messy, but she likes it. So far she has traveled out of state to Colorado and Washington.  Local touristy places, she's been to Santa Cruz and Capitola. She will be headed to Disneyland in October.  Next October she will be on her first Disney Cruise.  Plans are in the works for Hawaii in February.  She will definitely be a traveler, getting to experience all that this life has to offer.
